Day 1: Arrive in Madurai
Upon arriving in Madurai, our tour representatives will greet you and help you get to your hotel. Once the check-in formalities are complete, head out to explore the city of Madurai. Start off with the Arulmigu Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple. Also known as Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman Thirukkovil, the temple is dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi Amman Nayak.
Visit Teppakulam and enjoy a light and sound show at Thirumalai Nayak Palace before going back to your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Madurai – Kodaikanal
Leave for the hill station of Kodaikanal on this day. After checking-in to your hotel, head out to Bryant Park, which is home to a wide variety of plants and shrubs. Return to your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Kodaikanal
Dedicate this day to exploring all the popular sightseeing spots in Kodaikanal. You will be taken to places such as Green Valley View Point, Coaker’s Walk, Pillar Rocks, Shenbaganur Museum, Chettiar Park, and the many waterfalls that Kodaikanal is home to.
Day 4: Kodaikanal – Madurai
Make your way back to Madurai from Kodaikanal. Experience the beauty of Alagar Kovil and peruse through the Gandhi Memorial Museum before getting back to your hotel in Madurai.
Day 5: Madurai – Rameshwaram
Today, you will be moving to Rameshwaram, which is revered to be one of the holiest destinations in India. After reaching your hotel and freshening up, leave at noon to uncover the famous attractions of Rameshwaram.
Visit the Ramjharoka Temple, Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi, and Adam’s Bridge. Spend the night at your hotel in Rameshwaram.
Day 6: Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari
Make your way from Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari in the morning. Situated in the southernmost region of India, Kanyakumari is home to a range of culturally and historically important spots.
Our tour representatives will take you to the Kumari Amman Temple, Suchindram Theroor Bird Sanctuary, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Triveni Sangamam, and Gandhi Memorial. Breathe in the view of a gorgeous sunset at Kanyakumari Beach before heading back to your hotel.
Day 7: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum – Depart Trivandrum
On the last day of your trip, you will be driven to Trivandrum. Stop by the Padmanabhapuram Palace on your way.
The capital of Kerala has much to offer in terms of sightseeing. Make sure to visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and the Government Secretariat. Later on, leave for the airport or railway station to board your flight or train back home.
