Govenment Art museum
Government Museum, Bengaluru, established in 1865 by the Mysore State with the guidance of Surgeon Edward Balfour who founded the museum in Madras and supported by the Chief Commissioner of Mysore, L.B. Bowring, is one of the oldest museums in India and the second oldest museum in South India.
Fort st.george Museum
One of the main highlights of Fort St George is its museum. Known as Fort Museum, it houses a diverse collection of antiquities in well-organised galleries. As many as 3,661 artifacts from different ages of modern Indian history are displayed across three floors, which are divided into 10 galleries.
